Job summary

The role supports the Private Equity + Investment Funds practice, partnering with attorneys to deliver high-quality materials for strategic growth initiatives.

You will conduct market research, craft tailored pitch materials, coordinate events, and help promote the group’s expertise through thought leadership and client communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of marketing and business development experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services.
• Prior successful work history supporting a legal practice or similar experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to cultivate business with current and prospective clients.
• Conduct client, prospect, industry, and market research to inform BD efforts.
• Create high-quality tailored pitch materials, responses to RFPs and client presentations.
• Assist with development of legal directory and award submissions and league tables.
• Develop and distribute client alerts, newsletters, blogs, and other thought leadership pieces.
• Coordinate planning and execution of events, sponsorships, webinars, and speaking engagements; manage budgets and logistics.
• Work with communications to promote the group’s legal expertise and opportunities.
• Identify cross-practice connections to increase internal visibility.
• Collect and organize matter data for the firm’s experience management system.
