Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to support the Marketing and Business Development team in delivering high-quality materials for the Private Equity + Investment Funds practice.

You will help develop strategies, research markets, and prepare RFP responses, client presentations, and thought leadership pieces while coordinating events and communications to raise profile across practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in marketing/business development.
• 4+ years of marketing and business development experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services.
• Experience supporting a legal practice or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to cultivate business with current and prospective clients.
• Conduct market research to inform business development efforts.
• Create tailored pitch materials, responses to RFPs, and client presentations.
• Support legal directory and award submissions and league tables.
• Develop and distribute client alerts, newsletters, blogs, and thought leadership pieces.
• Coordinate events, webinars, sponsorships, and speaking engagements, including logistics and invitations.
• Promote practice group successes with communications teams and identify media opportunities.
• Identify cross-practice opportunities to boost internal visibility.
• Support data collection for Foundation and maintain marketing lists in InterAction.
