Job summary

James River Grounds Management, LLC is seeking a Business Development Associate to generate new business and grow income in designated markets. You will lead sales opportunities, build relationships with clients, and collaborate with leaders to implement strategies across departments.

The role encompasses prospecting, CRM management, and representing the company at industry events to achieve sales goals. A strong track record in sales and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of prior sales experience in a relevant industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Experience selling in property/facility management is preferred but not required.
• Minimum age 18+ and ability to pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Develop a Sales Plan with the Branch Manager for each territory and update regularly.
• Proactively canvas markets to seek new opportunities and maintain CRM with all projects.
• Develop and coordinate new strategic customer sales and relationships through new leads.
• Create opportunities by identifying client objectives and developing client-specific solutions.
• Drive sales processes from initial contact to proposal and closure; collaborate across teams.
