Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Business Banking Relationship Manager III for San Jose to grow a portfolio of commercial clients. You will lead relationship-building with business owners, coordinate with product partners, and drive revenue growth while ensuring risk controls and client satisfaction.

The role requires a strong sales background, credit knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple client relationships within a regional scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience and minimum of 5 years managing business banking or commercial relationships preferred.
• Formalized credit training or equivalent credit risk experience required. Underwriting experience preferred.
• Proven ability to build new and existing client business and provide a positive client experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop qualified client prospects in defined segment by identifying and utilizing referral sources, existing clients and centers of influence.
• Work with product partners to analyze, evaluate and develop a tailored relationship strategy for each client or prospect.
• Actively participate in community and/or industry forums to broaden relationship networks and knowledge of trends.
