R+L Carriers in Wilmington, OH, seeks an Attorney - Director of Benefits Administration to oversee leave of absence, insurance, and workers’ compensation programs. Reports to VP of HR and leads a benefits team, ensuring compliance across states and at the federal level.

The role requires a law degree, Ohio bar admission, and strong communication and leadership skills to guide internal processes and vendor relationships.

Formación

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Be admitted to practice law in Ohio and/or other states.
• Lead a HR benefits team and communicate strategically.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong time and project management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with various software tools.

Responsabilidades

• Administration of current benefits programs and administration of workers’ compensation
• Development of tactical and strategic benefit program compliance including local, state and national procedures and external vendor communication
• Provide recommendations for future plan offerings and plan design changes
• Perform financial analyses, cost estimates, and annual budget for benefits plans
• Manage relationships and processes with all outside vendors
• Familiarity with federal, state and local labor laws, FMLA and related matters on a national basis
• Manage internal processes for FMLA, LOA, ADA within federal and state guidelines on a national basis
