Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA and WC regulations.
• Manage vendors, consultants, budgets, forecasting, and cost containment.
• Partner with senior leadership on benefits strategy and risk management.
• Serve as escalation point for complex WC and benefits matters.

Summary

You will lead employee benefits and Workers’ Compensation programs for an organization operating across 48 states. This role requires an attorney with strong Workers’ Compensation experience and the ability to manage complex, multi-state programs.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the strategy and administration of employee benefits and Workers’ Compensation programs across 48 states.
• Oversee health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement, wellness, leave, and voluntary benefit programs.
• Lead annual renewals and open enrollment, including vendor negotiations, plan evaluation, and employee communications.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, and Workers’ Compensation regulations.
• Manage benefits vendors, consultants, budgets, forecasting, and cost-containment initiatives.
• Partner with senior leadership, Finance, HR, and legal resources on benefits strategy, compliance, and risk management.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex Workers’ Compensation and benefits matters.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of Workers’ Compensation and/or benefits administration experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or strategic role.
