Job summary

Verizon Communications seeks a Business Development Manager to secure contracts in MDU/MTU communities and expand the reach of Verizon Home Internet. You will lead negotiations for Broadband Access and Marketing agreements, working with owners, builders, and developers to drive top-line growth.

You will travel up to 75% of the time and build a candidate pipeline, conduct on-site tours, and present capabilities to stakeholders in a consultative manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Secure contracts with MDU/MTU communities to expand Verizon Home Internet reach.
• Develop License Agreements granting access to construct network.
• Initiate face-to-face contact with owners, builders and developers to present and secure marketing rights.
• Build and nurture relationships with property owners and developers to position Verizon as provider of choice.
• Identify buyers within target markets and conduct needs analyses and discovery sessions.
