Job summary

Verizon Communications in the United States is seeking a Business Development Manager to secure contracts with multi-dwelling and multi-tenant communities, expanding Verizon Home Internet reach.

Responsibilities include on-site meetings with owners, developers, and builders, negotiating marketing rights, and managing sales pipelines. Travel up to 75% is required; residency within 50 miles of the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Strong consulting skills and ability to prospect, plan sales and apply value-based selling.
• Influencing internal and external stakeholders to close deals.

Responsibilities

• Secure contracts with MDU/MTU communities to expand Verizon Home Internet.
• Initiate face-to-face contacts with owners, builders and developers to present and secure marketing rights.
• Develop new business via telephone and mass communication (email/social media).
• Analyze needs and pain points to tailor the montage solution.
• Manage data in CRM, log communications and attach documents.
• Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards.
• Negotiate contracts and close long-term, non-exclusive cooperative marketing deals.
• Understand competitive landscape and Verizon's advantages to present capabilities.
