Job summary

orionhiddencareers is seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to create and maintain client relationships and identify new projects. You will coordinate proposals with clients, assist with pre-qualification, present proposals, and negotiate terms with a cross-functional team.

Reporting to the VP of Business Development, you will target construction clients in marine and commercial sectors, track bid opportunities, and support marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in the concrete construction industry with business development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Organizational skills, self-starting, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Works with VP Business Development and senior management to develop sales strategies.
• Develops new clients and presents services that can be rendered.
• Establishes and maintains on-going client relationships for new opportunities.
• Serves as liaison with clients in bid proposals, submittals, and contract negotiations.
• Updates leadership on bid progress and opportunities.
• Evaluates project opportunities for feasibility and profitability.
• Collaborates on bid details including feasibility, costs, and timeframes.
• Tracks status of bid proposals and opportunities.
• Participates in internal marketing and business development initiatives.
