Job summary

Koch Specialty Plant Services (KSPS), a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Business Development Manager - Capital Construction to drive expansion into capital projects and broader mechanical execution. The role spans a national footprint with opportunities across the Baton Rouge, LA; Tulsa, OK; Houston, TX; Wichita, KS markets.

You will originate opportunities, build long-cycle pipelines, and shape demand early in the planning process, collaborating with EPCs, OEMs, and end users.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development within industrial services.
• Proven ability to build pipelines and win new business.
• Comfort navigating long, complex sales cycles (1–3+ years).
• Willingness to travel 50% nationally.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new market opportunities before formal demand exists.
• Develop and manage a long-cycle pursuit pipeline across target markets.
• Shape demand early in customer planning to influence scope and competitive positioning.
• Partner with internal teams to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
