Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with Air Force customer requirements and emerging trends. You will work with the Applications Engineering team to demonstrate interoperability across airborne, surface, expeditionary, and unmanned environments.

The role involves up to 50% travel and a remote option depending on location, reporting to the Director of Applications Engineering.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, CS, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2-5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Or a High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical/defense experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment like spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to US government contracts.
• All employment contingent upon successful background check and drug test.

• Analyze US Air Force priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Support field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate to verify solution architectures are technically sound.
• Align work with Business Development priorities and strategic goals.
• Build and present technical demonstrations for airborne and expeditionary networks.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and end-to-end network testing.
• Conduct market research for potential partner integrations and test end-to-end architectures.
