Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USAF requirements. You will support field trials, demos, and system architectures across airborne and expeditionary networks, collaborating with engineering and BD teams.

Travel up to 50% is required, with a 100% remote option depending on location. Requires skilled communication, DoD familiarity, and U.S. citizenship with a SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one.

Competenze

• Bachelor-level degree in a related field with 2–5 years of systems engineering or defense tech experience, or HS with 5+ years in technical roles.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical comms systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizen due to government contracts.
• Background check and drug test required.

Mansioni

• Analyze USAF priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan and execute field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Benchmark architectures and ensure technical soundness of proposed solutions.
• Align with BD team to support technical needs and strategic priorities.
• Develop and present technical demos for airborne, edge, and expeditionary networks.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and test end-to-end architectures.
• Conduct market research for potential integrations with partners.
• Engage with DoD program offices and labs for requirements.
