Motorola Solutions, with its Silvus Technologies subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer for the US Air Force. You will bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements, work with engineering and BD teams, and demonstrate field-ready StreamCaster radios across airborne and expeditionary environments.

You will support field tests, architecture benchmarking, and customer demonstrations, reporting to the Director of Applications Engineering.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Security Clearance: Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking, Linux, or scripting languages (Python, C++) for test automation.
• Exposure to or working knowledge of Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Citizen due to clients under U.S. requirements; U.S. citizenship or equivalent status may be required for some roles.

Responsabilidades

• Support technical planning, network configuration, and field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to leverage testing and benchmarking data to verify architectures.
• Maintain alignment with Business Development to support technical needs and strategic priorities.
• Assist in building and presenting technical demonstrations for airborne, tactical edge, and expeditionary networks.
• Perform market research to identify potential integrations with industry partners and test end-to-end network architectures.
• Engage with Air Force Program Offices, AFRL, AFLCMC, and other leads to translate field feedback into roadmap inputs.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests, demonstrations, and customer meetings.
