Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies seeks a Senior Business Development Director for Advanced Therapies to lead CGT/CDMO opportunities across US sites. You will shape strategy, manage C-level relationships, and close multi‑stakeholder deals that move programs from concept to clinic.

This global role focuses on building a high‑quality pipeline, coordinating with Legal, Commercial Solutions, Demand Planning, Marketing, and Market Intelligence to drive growth across our cell therapy network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior‑level BD, account mgmt, or program mgmt within biopharma/CDMO.
• Existing network across biopharma and CGT ecosystems; ability to originate and mature net‑new opportunities.
• Demonstrated pipeline discipline and forecast accuracy in long‑cycle enterprise sales.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a high‑quality, high‑velocity pipeline aligned to territory strategy and capacity.
• Facilitate partnerships within the global sales peer group and across FUJIFILM companies.
• Close complex, compliant agreements that accelerate sponsor timelines and deliver sustainable growth.
• Map stakeholders from R&D through CMC, MSAT, QA/RA, Procurement, and Legal; manage evaluations and governance processes.
• Represent the brand at conferences and field activity to generate qualified pipeline.
• Collaborate with Legal, Commercial Solutions, Demand Planning, Product, Marketing, and Market Intelligence to drive cohesive strategies.
