Job summary
FUJIFILM Biotechnologies seeks a seasoned Business Development Director for Advanced Therapies to own growth across the CGT/CDMO portfolio, spanning West Coast sites in the US. You will shape and close multi-stakeholder deals, translating science into patient-ready solutions.
You will lead strategic territory plans, build executive relationships, and drive forecast accuracy while collaborating with Legal, Marketing, and Ops. This is a global role with regional focus.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in senior-level business development, account management, or program management within biopharma/CDMO.
- Proven ability to originate and mature net-new opportunities across CGT ecosystems.
- Demonstrated pipeline discipline and forecast accuracy in long-cycle enterprise sales.
- Advanced negotiation, presentation, and business-writing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; science-related field strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own net-new revenue for Advanced Therapies in your territory and close high-value CGT/CDMO opportunities.
- Lead complex, consultative sales cycles across R&D through CMC, MSAT, QA/RA, Procurement, and Legal.
- Translate science to value through process development, tech transfer, GMP manufacturing, and QC/PPQ.
- Build senior relationships with C-suite and program leaders.
- Develop territory plans and provide accurate forecasts to leadership.
- Shape and negotiate contracts with Legal and Commercial Solutions.
- Represent the brand at conferences and trade shows to generate pipeline.
