Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director for Advanced Therapies to own growth across our CGT/CDMO network, including West Coast operations. You will drive the full lifecycle of complex deals from target to close, shaping contracts with Legal and Commercial Solutions to land mutually advantageous agreements.

The role requires 5+ years in senior business development within biopharma, a strong network, and advanced negotiation and writing skills.

Qualifications

5+ years in senior-level business development, account management, or program management within biopharma/CDMO.
Existing network across biopharma and CGT ecosystems; proven ability to originate and mature net-new opportunities.
Demonstrated pipeline discipline and forecast accuracy in long-cycle enterprise sales.
Advanced negotiation, presentation, and business-writing skills.
Bachelor’s degree required; science-related field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Build and manage a high-quality, high-velocity pipeline aligned to territory strategy and capacity.
Facilitate partnerships within the global sales peer group and across FUJIFILM companies.
Align closely with global directors on territory growth, portfolio positioning, and market dynamics.
Provide structured customer feedback to inform future solutions, differentiation, and win rates.
Develop and execute a territory plan that targets high-fit accounts across CGT segments.
Convert conference and field activity into qualified opportunities with velocity and discipline.
