FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is seeking a Business Development Director for Advanced Therapies to drive growth across CGT/CDMO programs. You will own the full lifecycle from target to close, engaging across R&D, CMC, MSAT, QA/RA, and Legal to build a high-value pipeline.

This global role sits on the West Coast and can be based anywhere. You will partner with Legal, Commercial Solutions, Demand Planning, Marketing, and Market Intelligence to accelerate sponsor timelines and close deals that advance

Qualifications

5+ years in senior-level business development within biopharma/CDMO.
Proven ability to originate and mature net-new opportunities.
Advanced negotiation, presentation, and business-writing skills.

Responsibilities

Own net-new revenue for Advanced Therapies in your territory and close high-value CGT/CDMO opportunities.
Lead complex, consultative sales cycles across multiple stakeholder groups.
Translate science to value through process development, tech transfer, and GMP manufacturing.
Build senior relationships with C-suite and program leaders.
Develop territory plans using market intelligence and accurate forecasts.
Shape and negotiate compliant, mutually advantageous agreements.
Represent the brand at conferences and drive pipeline.
Collaborate with Demand Planning, Marketing, Product, and Market Intelligence.
Maintain pipeline health and leadership visibility with data-driven updates.
