Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is seeking a Business Development Director for Advanced Therapies to lead growth across our CGT/CDMO portfolio. The role spans multiple US regions and requires strategic, multi-stakeholder selling to move programs from concept to clinic.

You will drive revenue, shape proposals with Legal and Commercial Solutions, and partner with demand planning and marketing to accelerate sponsor timelines. A strong scientific background and executive presence are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior-level business development or related roles in biopharma/CDMO.
• Proven ability to originate and close net-new opportunities across CGT ecosystems.
• Existing network with biopharma and CGT partners; strong pipeline discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own net-new revenue for Advanced Therapies in your territory; build, progress, and close high-value CGT/CDMO opportunities.
• Lead complex, consultative sales cycles across R&D through QA/RA and Legal; manage evaluations and RFPs.
• Translate science to value by articulating process development, tech transfer, GMP, QC, and PPQ capabilities.
• Build senior relationships with C-suite and program leaders; develop champions and sponsors.
• Develop territory plans using market intelligence; forecast accurately for leadership.
