Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is seeking a Business Development Director for Advanced Therapies to own growth across the CGT/CDMO ecosystem on the West Coast of the United States. You will lead complex multi-stakeholder deals from target through close, translating science into scalable GMP-ready solutions.

You will build strategic plans, nurture executive relationships, and coordinate with Legal, Commercial Solutions, Demand Planning, Marketing, and Market Intelligence to land high-value agreements

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior-level BD/AM/PM in biopharma/CDMO.
• Existing network across biopharma and CGT ecosystems.
• Proven pipeline discipline and forecast accuracy in long-cycle enterprise sales.
• Advanced negotiation, presentation, and business-writing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; science-related field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own net-new revenue for Advanced Therapies in your territory.
• Lead complex, consultative sales cycles across multiple stakeholders.
• Translate science to value across process development, tech transfer, and GMP manufacturing.
• Build senior relationships with C-suite and program leaders.
• Develop territory plans using market intelligence for high-fit accounts.
• Shape and negotiate contracts with Legal and Commercial Solutions.
• Represent the brand at conferences and drive qualified pipeline.
• Partner with Demand Planning and Marketing to align on strategy.
• Be accountable with pipeline health, forecasts, and customer insights.
