Job summary

Motorola Solutions’ Silvus Technologies seeks a Director of Business Development for the U.S. Army to lead long‑term capture efforts and build deep relationships with end users, OEMs, primes, and PM offices.

You will guide capability requirements toward Silvus MN‑MIMO solutions and drive multi‑year pursuits from identification to award. This remote‑eligible role offers up to 50% travel, a competitive package including base salary with commission, and the opportunity to influence defense programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of relevant experience in defense sales.
• 5+ years of defense sales experience focusing on U.S. Army.
• Proven ability to capture long‑cycle DoD programs.
• Experience building relationships within U.S. Army Acquisition offices and with relevant prime contractors.
• Experience leading all phases of business capture (whitepapers, proposals, RFI/RFP response, teaming).

Responsibilities

• Own and drive capture for large, multi-year U.S. Army programs.
• Cultivate relationships with Program Offices, primes, OEMs, and end users.
• Shape requirements to align with Silvus MN‑MIMO tech.
• Manage full lifecycle of long-cycle pursuits from start to award.
• Collaborate with MDE and Account Sales for smooth transitions.
• Stay updated on market trends and funding priorities.
