Tempus is seeking an Area Sales Director for the Pacific Northwest region. The role covers Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, with a remote-first approach and significant travel. Lead a team of 6-8 account executives to penetrate hospitals and clinics, promoting genetic diagnostic testing services.

The candidate will craft sales strategies, coach the team, expand territory, negotiate contracts, and present to stakeholders. Strong leadership and sales track record required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years selling laboratory services to clinicians and hospitals.
• 7+ years of prior managerial experience in sales.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage a team of 6-8 Account Executives and Senior Account Executives.
• Create and implement effective sales strategies for Account Executives.
• Provide leadership through communication, coaching, and development.
• Supervise through field visits and performance observations.
• Maintain competitive knowledge to adjust sales strategies.
• Manage territory and expansion into major metropolitan areas.
• Sell genetic diagnostic testing services to new customers and negotiate contracts.
• Develop and deliver presentations, host trade shows, and manage data in the CRM.
• Achieve sales goals and support cross-functional collaboration.
