Job summary

Tempus AI is seeking an Area Sales Director for the Pacific Northwest to lead and grow our laboratory services portfolio. You will drive strategic sales, mentor 6-8 Account Executives, and expand business across hospitals, clinics, and labs in a multi-state region, with significant travel.

You will partner with clinical and lab stakeholders, negotiate contracts, and introduce new diagnostic testing products while achieving aggressive revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years selling laboratory services to clinicians and hospitals.
• 7+ years of prior managerial sales experience.
• Strong CRM and MS Office skills; proven deal closure ability.
• Experience selling diverse lab testing to multiple medical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 6-8 Account Executives.
• Develop and execute sales strategies across the territory.
• Coach and monitor performance; adjust plans to hit goals.
• Manage contracts, travel, and relationships with hospitals and clinics.
• Deliver compelling presentations and represent Tempus in trade shows.
