Job summary

United Digestives is seeking an Ancillary Operations Coordinator to support the Ancillary Services department and streamline operations across service lines. You will help design processes, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure accurate documentation within the EMR and practice management systems.

The role emphasizes project coordination, HIPAA compliance, and cross-team collaboration with leadership to implement new services and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of medical office experience in healthcare operations.
  • Experience in project management and adhering to department budgets preferred.
  • Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement departmental processes to ensure quality care and service.
  • Serve as the point person for processes in the practice management and EMR systems.
  • Create and manage project plans, train staff, and adjust documents as needed.
  • Collaborate with leadership to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with vendors for education and training in ancillary services.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
  • Participate in department meetings and marketing activities.
  • Assist in expanding ancillary services.
