Job summary

Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) is seeking an Account/Project Manager to own multiple customers' books of business, ensure customer satisfaction, and provide sales support. The role requires multitasking, organization, and proactive initiative within a fast-paced environment.

Reports to: PC Manager. Responsibilities include order processing, pricing discussions, forecasting support, and customer service for walk-in retail customers, with some travel possible.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service/administrative experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high level of service.

Responsibilities

• Proactive account management for assigned customers to ensure a consistently positive experience.
• Write up customer orders and engage in pricing and availability discussions.
• Create processes to help customers stay organized and forecast upcoming needs.
• Engage in ongoing learning about solar equipment to advise on products and alternatives.
• Provide input to inform purchasing decisions based on customer interactions and relationships.
• Assist walk-in retail customers and handle cash/credit sales transactions.
• Answer telephone inquiries, take orders, provide directions, route calls, and take messages.
• Prepare/pick sales orders to support warehouse activities.
• Contribute to marketing, events and showroom communications; update lobby displays and literature.
• Other duties as assigned.
