Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Account Manager in Huntsville, AL to proactively maintain and expand relationships with existing commercial and industrial waste customers. You will promote the full suite of Republic Services products and drive retained revenue.

Responsibilities include renewing contracts, responding to cancellations, and collaborating with operations to resolve service issues. A successful candidate has at least 1 year of sales experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Waste or transportation industry experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintains and retains existing customers by building long-term relationships.
• Develops knowledge of services, pricing structures, and offers to assigned customers.
• Performs contractual re-signs to extend relationships and profitability.
• Responds to cancellation requests per escalation policy.
• Uses Salesforce daily to document activities (calls, meetings, proposals).
• Increases customer penetration by selling the full suite of Republic Services products.
• Collaborates with operations to address customer service issues.
