Highmark Inc. is seeking an experienced Account/Client Manager to steward a book of business and maintain strategic relationships with existing accounts in the health insurance sector.

You will renew accounts, upsell products, and lead initiatives to ensure retention and profitable growth. The role requires building executive-level partnerships, coordinating with internal teams, and delivering tailored solutions in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High School / GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management or related field preferred.
• 2 years of Account/Client Management experience or other relevant experience.
• State specific Producer Licenses for Life, Accident & Health required or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review new products, services, capabilities, and technologies with the client to sell lines, renewals and add-ons.
• Manage relationships at senior levels with clients, consultants and brokers to build partnerships.
• Develop sales solutions considering competition and the changing political environment.
• Create and implement business plans and metrics for retaining and growing membership.
• Conduct routine service calls and be the primary contact for strategic planning.
• Support customers during contract implementation and advocate for service issues.
• Prepare reports, forecasts, rates and renewals for sales presentations.
• Lead internal partners in delivering client strategy and long-term account plans.
