Job summary

Relation Insurance Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Account Manager for our Small Business Unit to manage client relationships, advise on coverage, risk management, and program design.

The role requires a Property and Casualty license, at least 5 years in insurance account management, strong communication skills, proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint, and willingness to travel; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Property and Casualty License required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus or required in some locations.
• Minimum 5 years account management experience in insurance.
• Four-year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main client contact; guide coverage changes and contractual requirements.
• Partner in strategic development of insurance plans tailored to client needs.
• Act as field underwriter and authorized representative to bind coverage as appropriate.
• Oversee renewals remarketing to maintain high account retention rates.
• Prepare client proposals, including submissions, loss evaluations, and risk analyses, with timely quotations.
• Assist clients in submitting claims and coordinating with adjusters and carriers.
• Review renewals and audits; communicate discrepancies to clients and take action.
• Identify process improvements and adopt innovative technology to enhance service delivery.
