Job summary

Relation Insurance Inc. is seeking an experienced Account Manager for our Small Business Unit. You will manage client relationships, advise on coverage, risk management, and program design to align with growth goals.

Responsibilities include client liaison, renewals, proposals, and claims coordination, with emphasis on service excellence and timely quotations. Travel may be required; a P&C license and 5+ years in insurance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Property and Casualty license from domicile state, maintained; insurance designations preferred.
• High School diploma required; four-year degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of account management experience in personal lines insurance.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus or required in some locations.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, guiding coverage changes and requirements.
• Partner in strategic development of tailored insurance plans.
• Underwrite and bind coverage as authorized by carriers.
• Manage renewal remarketing to maintain high client retention.
• Prepare client proposals, quotes, and risk analyses; explain billing options.
• Prepare binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and related documents.
• Assist clients with submitting first reports of claims and coordinate with adjusters.
• Review renewals and audits for accuracy; communicate discrepancies to clients.
• Identify process improvements and adopt innovative technology to improve service.
• Travel to client sites as needed with valid driver’s license.
