Job summary

Paychex is seeking a strategic account sales professional to grow new and existing client relationships within designated markets. You will present Paychex offerings virtually to decision makers, develop referrals, and drive revenue while enabling onboarding and client success.

Required is a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and about 1 year in sales or relationship management; compensation includes base pay plus commission with comprehensive rewards.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1 year of sales or relationship management experience.

Responsibilities

• Prospects for end users/new clients and referrals within strategic accounts using various channels.
• Presents Paychex products virtually to decision makers to grow the client base.
• Builds strong relationships to generate referrals and identify upsell opportunities.
• Provides regular updates and attends strategy meetings; may train clients or referral sources.
• Meets or exceeds sales/revenue objectives and ensures onboarding paperwork is completed.
• Develops advanced knowledge of Paychex systems and processes to act as SME for strategic accounts.
