Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to serve as the primary contact for key customers in a designated district. You will cultivate relationships, manage large projects, and grow a strategic account portfolio while coordinating with branch sales, Outside Sales, and National Account Managers.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in sales with large accounts, and the ability to travel up to 70% within the territory.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years of sales experience, preferably with large accounts.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 70% within territory.
Strong customer service orientation and leadership, presentation, negotiation skills.
Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Maintain and develop relationships with existing strategic accounts within territory.
Prepare and deliver formal business reviews to key decision makers.
Monitor and prospect large projects and leads for branch sales.
Qualify new strategic accounts from existing customers and dormant/non-customers.
Collaborate with Outside Sales and National Account Managers to drive revenue.
