Job summary

Copeland is seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive new business in North America. This remote role requires building relationships with end users, contractors and engineers to expand Vilter's installed base of refrigeration and heating solutions.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage forecasts, and lead opportunities from enquiry to closure while traveling up to 100 nights annually. Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years account management experience in industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field required.
• Knowledgeable in contract negotiations and closing opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Account Sales Plans to meet or exceed defined sales and gross margin objectives.
• Realize sales and margin targets for Vilter refrigeration and heat pump compression packages in territory.
• Build and grow relationships with contractors, consultants, and end-users to encourage a preference for Vilter products and services.
• Regular travel required, up to 100 nights per year.
• Demonstrate full ownership of sales process from enquiry to purchase order closure and provide aftersales support.
• Maintain up-to-date forecasts, project details, and competitor notes through Salesforce CRM.
• Present projects and attend weekly Opportunity Review Board meetings.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure strong performance and positive customer experience.
• Work with Sales, Marketing, Lifecycle Services, and Product Management to educate customers on new technologies.
• Carry out responsibilities in an ethical manner per company policies and laws.
