Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies is seeking an Account Director for Advanced Therapies in a global, remote capacity. You will drive retention and expansion across strategic biopharma accounts, align our Life Sciences network to program needs, and lead multi‑stakeholder strategy from R&D through procurement.

This role emphasizes science‑to‑value storytelling, cross‑site collaboration, and sponsor‑level relationship management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior‑level biopharma/CDMO experience in account management or business development.
• Track record of growing complex, multi‑site accounts and long sales cycles.
• Established network with CGT leaders and executive stakeholders.
• Advanced negotiation, presentation, and business writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Own retention and expansion: Deliver net revenue retention and expansion targets within a defined portfolio; identify whitespace and drive cross‑sell/upsell across the CGT value chain.
• Lead executive account strategy: Build multi‑year account plans and QBRs with R&D, CMC, MSAT, QA/RA, Procurement, and Legal stakeholders; establish executive sponsorship and governance.
• Translate science to value: Position capabilities spanning process and analytical development, tech transfer, scale‑up, GMP manufacturing, QC/release testing, comparability, and PPQ.
• Navigate complex commercial constructs: Shape and negotiate MSA/SOW/QoA, pricing frameworks, and change controls; align scope, risk, and timelines with capacity and quality requirements.
• Drive disciplined execution: Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline hygiene, and stage conversion; keep systems and leadership current with data‑driven updates and risks/mitigations.
• Represent the brand: Lead presence at priority conferences and tradeshows; convert visibility into qualified expansion opportunities.
• Partner for delivery: Work closely with Program Management and sites to ensure proactive communication, on‑time milestones, and high sponsor satisfaction; anticipate capacity needs with Demand Planning.
• Capture the voice of the customer: Provide structured feedback to inform solution roadmaps, differentiation, and win rates.
