FedEx Freight, Inc. seeks a strategic finance professional to strengthen customer relationships while providing financial analysis of diverse business proposals and recommending account adjustments within a strategic business segment.

You will negotiate pricing programs in the LTL space, support dynamic pricing and forecasts, collaborate with operations and sales, and lead or participate in special projects to drive growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in finance, accounting, sales or business with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with all management levels and customers.
• Strong pricing experience and related analytical skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong project management skills and ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint or financial support systems.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team.
• Able to lead project groups and represent Carrier Relations.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships with proactive communication and collaboration.
• Negotiate pricing programs and upsell value-added services in the LTL space.
• Coordinate BID/RFP activity with stakeholders and benchmark against General Program.
• Assist in developing dynamic pricing and forecasting aligned with financial objectives.
• Collaborate with operations and internal partners to provide a premier customer experience.
• Support market research to develop growth and profitability strategies.
• Monitor network capacity and implement pricing to balance the network.
• Lead or participate in special projects as needed.
• Mentor lower-level professionals.
