Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Division Stormwater Compliance Specialist I to manage the Division Stormwater Management Program and ensure compliance with NPDES and related regulations across the division.

The role requires handling permit applications, coordinating with internal teams and regulators, and maintaining program documentation and certifications. Must be able to travel as needed and work in various environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of stormwater related experience.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Must obtain one of four national stormwater certifications within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Sign and submit stormwater regulatory permit applications.
• Manage the Division Stormwater Management Program per regulations and company standards.
• Develop and revise the Division Stormwater Management Program as required by regs and industry practices.
• Coordinate with regulators and internal teams to respond to inquiries and enforcement actions.
• Inspect and audit practices to ensure program compliance and implement corrective actions.
