Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Division Stormwater Compliance Specialist I to manage the Division Stormwater Management Program in alignment with NPDES and local regulations.

The role coordinates with Corporate and Region teams and engages with divisions including Entitlements, Land Development and Vertical Construction. The candidate will sign permit applications, supervise contractors, perform inspections, and update the program as requirements evolve.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of stormwater related experience.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Possess or obtain within one year at least one of CPESC, CESSWI, CPSWQ, CISEC.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Sign and submit stormwater compliance related regulatory permit applications.
• Manage the Division Stormwater Management Program in compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
• Communicate and supervise third-party contractors and consultants for stormwater compliance.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and respond to information requests and enforcement actions.
• Prepare and process NOIs, NOCs, NOTs, amendments and updates to permits.
