Job summary

D.R. Horton is seeking a Field Stormwater Compliance Representative to oversee NPDES program compliance across multiple developments. You will work with the Division Stormwater Compliance Representative to maintain regulatory adherence and coordinate with environmental teams and contractors.

The role requires strong communication, ability to travel, and proficiency with MS Office. A valid driver's license and a relevant stormwater certification track are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain DHI Advanced Stormwater Training within six months.
• Two of the following within one year: QSM, EPA stormwater training, or state-specific stormwater certification.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an effective NPDES management program in compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with third party environmental contractors and consultants.
• Communicate regulatory concerns to management.
• Conduct QA audits of design and in-field practices; issue corrective actions.
• Assist in preparation/review of SWPPPs for the division.
• Support training of division personnel on NPDES requirements.
• Travel and overtime as needed.
