Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Regional Stormwater Compliance Manager to oversee the Region Stormwater Management Program, ensuring compliance with NPDES and state/local stormwater regulations. The role involves coordinating with regional and corporate teams, and supervising third-party vendors.

Ideal candidates have strong MS Office skills, certifications, and the ability to travel; weekend work and overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Four or more years related experience.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• All required state level certifications.
• Must possess at least two, and possess or obtain within one year of employment, a total of three of the following four national stormwater certifications: CPESC, CESSWI, CPSWQ, CISEC.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sign and submit stormwater compliance related regulatory permit applications.
• Assist in the management of the Region Stormwater Management Program in compliance with standards and regulations.
• Develop, implement, and administer revisions to the Region Stormwater Management Program.
• Communicate and supervise third-party contractors and consultants for NPDES compliance.
• Liaise with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies and coordinate site inspections and responses.
• Conduct routine inspections and quality assurance audits of design and in-field practices.
