Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Field Stormwater Compliance Representative to oversee NPDES-related activities for multiple developments.

The role requires coordinating with environmental teams, contractors, and management to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining program integrity. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, obtain DHI Advanced Stormwater Training within six months, and work toward two of the specified certifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DHI Advanced Stormwater Training Program certification within six months.
• Within one year, obtain two of: QSM, USEPA Stormwater Training Certification, or state stormwater training/certification.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work under the Division Stormwater Compliance Representative to maintain an on-going NPDES program.
• Administer revisions to the Division NPDES Program as needed.
• Coordinate with third-party environmental contractors and consultants for stormwater/ wetlands NPDES compliance.
• Communicate regulatory agency concerns to management.
• Conduct QA audits of design and in-field practices and instruct consultants.
