Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC is seeking an Overhead Distribution A Lineperson to install, maintain, and repair overhead power systems, including poles, transformers, and switchgear.

The role requires at least 4 years of electrical linework experience, ability to climb structures, and willingness to travel out of state for storm work. CDL preferred or willingness to obtain, and pre-employment screening applies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years electrical linework experience.
• Ability to climb structures and use climbing tools.
• Knowledge of energized high voltage systems.
• Willingness to travel out of state for emergency storm work.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Set poles and anchors; string overhead wire.
• Install transformers, arrestors, crossarms, and switches.
• Perform construction, maintenance, or repair on energized/de-energized lines while following safety rules.
• Troubleshoot issues with primary and secondary systems.
• Replace fuses and clear faulted circuits; maintain tools and equipment.
• Report injuries and safety concerns to Foreperson.
