Job summary

Utility Lines Construction Services is seeking an experienced Overhead Distribution A Lineperson to install and maintain overhead distribution and transmission systems, including poles, cables, transformers, and switchgear. Travel may be required for storm work or emergencies in this role.

Responsibilities include setting poles, stringing wire, installing equipment, performing construction and repairs, troubleshooting, and ensuring safety and compliance on every job site.

Qualifications

• 4+ years electrical linework experience.
• Proof of work experience, schooling, and any certifications.
• CDL preferred or willingness to obtain CDL within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Set poles and anchors; string overhead wire.
• Install transformers, arrestors, cutouts, crossarms, insulators, switches.
• Perform construction, maintenance, or repair on energized and de-energized lines with safety rules.
• Troubleshoot issues in primary and secondary systems.
• Replace fuses and clear faulted circuits and systems.
• Test and inspect tools/equipment daily for safety and efficiency.
• Report injuries, near misses, and safety concerns to Foreperson.
• Perform other duties related to overhead power installation.
