Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems, including energized and de-energized lines. Travel to various job sites may be required due to outages, storms, and emergencies, with reporting to the Foreman.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on line work, training apprentices, and operating bucket trucks and associated equipment. CDL is required, with extended travel and overtime expected.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems (energized and de-energized).
• Lead crew members in absence of supervisor and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Perform live-line work using gloves and hot-sticks, troubleshoot faults.
