Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a seasoned Lineman - Overhead for outage, storm, and maintenance work across the Southeast. You will construct, repair and upgrade overhead distribution systems, climbing structures and operating bucket trucks using proper safety procedures.

The role requires a CDL, at least five years of overhead line experience, and willingness to travel long distances on short notice. Overtime, on-call rotations, and varied outdoor conditions are expected.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Willing to work outside normal business hours, including weekends and overtime.
• Ability to climb structures and operate bucket trucks and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew in absence of supervisor and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
• Travel to different job sites including out-of-state locations.
• Maintain safety protocols and PPE usage.
