Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC is seeking a Journeyperson Lineperson for our Underground Distribution Construction team. The role involves operating excavation and conduit equipment, installing and repairing underground electrical lines, and responding to outages while adhering to safety policies.

Applicants must be able to work long hours, lift heavy loads, and obtain CDL if not already held within 90 days. Travel for emergency storm work may be required; a valid license and background check are

Qualifications

• Must safely enter and exit excavations.
• Must terminate underground primary and secondary cables.
• Must pass background and drug tests.
• CDL preferred or willingness to obtain CDL within 90 days.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment for excavating, backfilling, lifting and other tasks.
• Assists with installation, operation, maintenance and repair of underground power lines.
• Responds to service calls during power outages and electrical issues.
• Maintains safe jobsite conditions and follows safety policies.
• Communicates work details to property owners as needed.
