Ashley Furniture, a leader in home furnishings, seeks a Visual Merchandiser to design compelling store displays and balanced layouts that enhance the guest experience. You’ll implement merchandising strategies under Visual Leadership and keep product storytelling strong across seasonal transitions.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2 years of retail store visual merchandising experience, preferably in home furnishings.
• Regularly lift objects over 50 lbs.
• Able to transport loads of up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement a visual merchandising strategy to support sales and financial objectives.
• Create visually appealing store displays and coordinate furniture, lighting, and accessories layouts.
• Remerchandise displays, signage, POS, and areas to maximize sell-through.
• Maintain store appearance and coordinate repairs with management.
• Handle shipments, tagging, showroom placement, and bi-annual inventory.
• Ensure adherence to visual standards and signage; engage staff in maintenance.
• Develop product knowledge on promotions and store functions.
• Mentor staff on merchandising basics and communicate standards.
• Coordinate with the store manager on tasks, visuals, and POS materials.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.
