Ashley Furniture is seeking a Store Visual Merchandiser to create engaging store displays, interior layouts, and balanced audio elements. You will implement merchandising strategies under Visual Leadership to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.

Responsibilities include executing layouts, recovering displays, coordinating tagging and showroom placement, and mentoring staff on merchandising basics. This role emphasizes teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• 2 years of retail store visual merchandising experience, preferably in home furnishings.
• Regularly lift objects over 50 lbs.
• Ability to transport loads of 100 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement a visual merchandising strategy to achieve sales and financial objectives.
• Execute visually appealing displays and coordinate furniture, lighting, and accessories layouts.
• Remerchandise displays, signage, POS, and areas to maximize sell-through and coordinate item moves.
• Maintain store appearance and initiate repairs with management.
• Check-in shipments, tag products, and participate in inventory processes.
• Adhere to merchandising standards and ensure AV elements comply with standards.
• Develop knowledge of products and promotions; stay updated on fashion trends.
• Mentor staff on merchandising basics and communicate standards.
• Coordinate with the store manager on tasks, visual needs, and incoming products.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by management.
