Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Store Visual Merchandiser to create engaging displays and layouts that enhance the shopping experience. You will coordinate furniture, lighting, and accessories to drive sales and seasonal transitions, while maintaining store appearance and assisting with inventories.

The role requires 2 years of visual merchandising experience in retail, physical stamina for lifting duties, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• 2 years' experience in retail store visual merchandising, preferably in home furnishings.
• Regularly lift objects over 50 lbs.
• Ability to transport loads of 100 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement a visual merchandising strategy that helps achieve sales volume and financial objectives.
• Execute visually appealing store merchandising displays under Visual Leadership, coordinate layout plans for furniture, lighting, and accessories, and transition seasonal products.
• Remerchandise displays, signage, point-of-sale, and select areas to maximize product sell-through and communicate with Visual management on sold items.
• Complete the store's recovery processes and maintain interior/exterior appearance with warehouse and housekeeping support; initiate repairs with management.
• Coordinate product tagging, inventory processes, and showroom placement; participate in bi-annual inventory.
