Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Store Visual Merchandiser to craft engaging displays and influential store layouts under the guidance of Visual Leadership. You will coordinate furniture, lighting, and accessories to create a compelling shopping experience for guests.

The role requires 2 years of retail visual merchandising experience, preferably in home furnishings, with the ability to lift 50 lbs and transport 100 lbs. Flexible hours including weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• 2 years' experience in retail store visual merchandising, preferably in home furnishings.
• Regularly lift objects over 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to transport loads of 100 IBS with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Associate degree in interior design, merchandising, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain reliable attendance
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement a visual merchandising strategy that helps achieve the Company’s sales and financial objectives.
• Execute visually appealing and well-balanced store merchandising displays under Visual Leadership, coordinate layout plans for furniture, lighting, and accessories, and transition seasonal products.
• Remerchandise displays, signage, POS, and select areas regularly to maximize product sell-through and communicate with Visual management on sold items.
• Complete the store's recovery processes and maintain store appearance with assistance from warehouse/housekeeping. Initiate minor repairs as needed.
• Check-in and unpackage accessory merchandise, coordinate tagging and showroom placement, and participate in bi-annual inventory.
