Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Store Visual Merchandiser in the United States to craft visually engaging displays and store layouts under supervision from Visual Leadership. You will manage seasonal transitions, signage, and product placement to enhance the guest shopping experience while collaborating with warehouse and management teams.

The role requires 2 years of retail merchandising experience, ability to lift heavy items, and flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• 2 years' experience in retail store visual merchandising, preferably in home furnishings.
• Regularly lift objects over 50 lbs.
• Ability to transport loads of 100 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Implement a visual merchandising strategy that helps achieve the Company’s sales volume and financial objectives.
• Execute visually appealing and well-balanced store displays under Visual Leadership; coordinate layout plans for furniture, lighting, and accessories; transition seasonal products.
• Remerchandise displays, signage, and POS; complete floor moves as needed; communicate with Visual management on sold items.
• Maintain interior and exterior store appearance with warehouse/housekeeping support; initiate repairs of lighting, fixtures, etc., with store management.
• Check-in and unpackage accessory shipments; coordinate tagging and showroom placement; participate in bi-annual inventory.
