Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking a Training Coordinator to partner with retail management to train and develop associates. The role focuses on onboarding new hires, enforcing policies, and identifying training needs to boost performance and customer service.

The position requires HIPAA and Food Handler certifications where applicable, with readiness to work flexible schedules and ensure store compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED and one or more years of related experience required.
• HIPAA certification required.
• Food Handler certification required.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification required where applicable.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop partners in conjunction with upper management.
• Conduct on-boarding and introduce new hires to policies, procedures, people, and culture.
• Identify partners needing training and ensure completion of modules.
• Deliver training sessions on a wide range of topics such as on-the-job and refresher training.
• Report progress of partners during training to management.
• Provide support to partners with task-related issues and suggest improvements to procedures.
• Maintain a customer-service friendly store environment and ensure safety standards.
