Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking a Training Coordinator to partner with retail management in training and developing store staff. You will work with front-end teams to ensure adherence to training guidelines and report progress to leadership, recommending opportunities for growth and improved training strategies.

You will conduct onboarding, maintain knowledge of company policies, and ensure training modules are completed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; one+ years of related experience.
• HIPAA certification required.
• Food Handler certification required.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification required where applicable.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive under policy.

Responsibilities

• Trains and develops partners with retail management guidance.
• Conducts onboarding for new hires, introducing policies, procedures, people, and culture.
• Identifies partners in need of training with management and ensures training modules are completed.
• Delivers training sessions on topics such as on-the-job and refresher training.
• Reports progress of partners during training to management.
• Assists partners with position-specific tasks by offering management input to improve procedures.
• Maintains customer-focused store environment and ensures safety and cleanliness.
• Keeps current on company policies, procedures, and business initiatives.
